Just as we all thought. Of course he won't pick Margarito he can't stand Margarito!

He points to the Williams fight as an example that Margarito will lose because he can't adjust. Well, look at how Williams looked at the end of that fight Teddy.

I'm glad he didn't pick Margarito though. Was waiting on that!

Well he did pick Mayweather to defeat Hatton.

I just think this is one of those can't miss picks that you shouldn't get wrong. By all logic, Cotto should be able to box circles around the inferior fighter.

    Teddy will be vindicated tommorow

He picked Floyd to beat Hatton, Joe to beat Hopkins, Pavlik to beat Taylor etc.

He's a horrible picker, but he gets obvious fights right, this is a dead obvious.

I think Cotto can outbox Margo, but how will he react when Margo lands on him? If Cotto is durable enough I think he will win.

By all logic? How do you figure that?

Cotto has never shown the capability to fight non-stop for 12 consecutive rounds with flagging.

Cotto has shown a tendency to get hurt in tactical fights - much less wars like the one he'll be in tomorrow, against fighters far less equiped to do damage than Margarito.

And most of all Cotto isn't skilled enough to box circles around anyone without getting clipped and caught consistently with counter punches.

By all logic, Cotto is going to get beaten tomorrow.

    :lol::patsch

Cotto is not going to get beaten, nor is it going to be a war. Technical fighters who surgically take opponents apart adapt and don't get into slugfests, which is what Cotto has been since hitting 147 pounds.

Margarito ought to be worried about permanent damage, as he has no defence and is going to be taking consistent amounts of punishing combinations from Cotto.

And Cotto won't get exhausted trying to punch his way through a bigger, more durable, more active opponent?

Yeah, we'll have to see about that Amsterdam. You think Margarito is completely ****.

To me he's nothing that great either, but I'm not rating him nearly as low as you are.

He's going to beat Cotto. Watch.

Cotto doesn't have the true mobility or defensive skills to carry it off. No possible way.

Is it not just the Klitschko rule? I didn't think he was consistently wrong with anyone else...

    No.

Because Cotto's shot will effect Margarito and Margarito's workrate, again, will be cut down several notches due to the consistent/accurate punishment he's taking to the body and head.

I just hope after this happens, you'll conceed that you're boy is just a solid fighter and nothing special and not glorify the **** out of Cotto.

Cotto's defensive skills are fine enough to avoid consistent work from sloppy Margarito, an odd shot here and there isn't enough to take him out or even put him on ***** street, Marg breaks guys down in accumulation.

Plus, Marg is ineffective going backwards(Cotto smothering him would make him go backwards), weak to the body and has no defence(again I will spot that), his workrate isn't going to be impressive here.
