I liked how Green sparked Kessler in the first round. Kessler went down after trying to hold on to Green. Stupid ref called it a slip. :roll: However, Green did not follow it up and let Kessler off the hook. I was concerned for Green's safety the entire bout when he insisted on movng to his left and right into Kessler's right hand. Then Kessler takes him out with a left hook.

Green has never been the same since his surgery but he got caught with a shot that would have koed anyone.

The ref didn't call it a slip. He gave Kessler an 8 count....which actually, was better for him because it gave him a few more seconds to recover.

Him getting KTFO in glorious fashion somewhat did make up for the utter goddamned borefest he and Andre Ward created..

the ref gave it a knock down in round one, kessler looked quite slow to start off but got much more dangerous as fight wore on

 

It is those kind of KOs that gets the casual fans talking :conf
