You know its like he said that he wouldnt work with Mayweather for making a fight with Cotto then claimed he offered floyd 8 million after he told him that the fight wasnt worth 7...

Arum is full of ****, and would work a fight with Williams in a heartbeat as long as it doesnt involve Margo...

    :good

It's pretty sad that Margo fans will still try to spin the truth even after this article has come out.

Now Ive got a question for you, do you think Margo is avoiding Williams as well? I know Arum is for him but do you think Margo cares? I personally do, he knows Williams can beat him and would rather cash in on easier fights than fight him again.

Yeah they know about the offer...If not they would have not said that it wasnt a formal offer...They all know and they all have agreed to punk out and duck Williams...I dont normally llike to say that kind of stuff, but Im so sick of Arum, Margo, and the Margo nutticks making those stupid fuking claims about Pride, and being avoided and boxing isnt about money...Saddest part is people will still believe it:tired

Boxing is about money everyone knows that but they spun it so hard that Margo wasn't about that and was all about pride.

Now that Margo is wanting money money and more money and not challenge. It's deemed okay to do it, becuase thats boxing.

    They want it both ways.

Saying that Margarito is about business is being too generous. You're giving him the benefit of the doubt when he doesn't deserve it! If he was about $$$$ he would have taken FOUR ****ING MILLION DOLLARS to fight Williams.

And now he is scrapping and fighting over $2M???

And this is a guy who everyone says never hit Margo and slapped his gloves all night. This is a guy who he said he should have beaten. Whining and **** after the fight.

    Margarito is a

I think Margo would fight anyone. He for damn sure would jump at the opportunity to avenge his loss to Williams.

Margarito is anything but a *****. That guy is a true warrior in that ring. He wanted a rematch after the first fight, and he had his manager inquire about a fight with Williams after the Mosley fight seemed to fall apart. Unfortunately, Arum lied about the availability of that fight.

If he bucked Top Rank to fight Williams for the 1.5 Million the first fight, what makes you think he won't do it again for $4 Million?

These guys are very capable of getting in touch with each other to make this happen without Arum. Margo knew about the offer, and yes, it was a serious offer.

No, he wanted to have the results of the first fight invalidated, and THEN make the rematch mandatory. That's a huge difference. That's a *****-move.

And yeah, Margarito ain't no ***** inside the ring. It's what he does OUTSIDE the ring that makes him a *****.

I agree. The guy is quick as hell to call out smaller fighters like Cotto who he just made quit or PBF. But won't avenge his losses to bigger men like Santos or Williams. Because he knows his limited ass can't deal with bigger men and he needs a size advantage in order to win. He's pathetic and so are his fans.

Paul Williams exposed his ass and will forever be his daddy.

He went against Arum to make that first Williams fight. He knew damn well that Williams was tougher fight than Cotto and he took it anyway. You have to respect that. And he's already had his manager try to make the Williams fight instead of the Mosley fight.

And he had his manager talk to Arum about that fight. A fight with Williams would not be a mando this time. You have no idea about how much control Arum has over the matchmaking process. I doubt he could fight Williams without Arum giving the OK.

yeah he did. I don't understand why Reg is trying to cover for Tony's cowardice. At the end of the day it is the fighter's decision, and Tony chose to go the easy path of lower opposition and lower money, than fight the guy who beat him for another career high payday and the undisputed WW championship. So much for being a pride fighter, hell he can't even say he is doing something for the money.

That fight was a mando. Therefore, Arum didn't have a leg to stand on in regards to stopping that fight even though he tried.
