My IQ has no bearing on you saying things that you don't even know if they are true or not.

According to folks on this site that seem to know, Pavlik was in 'Williams' mode. Arum had met their demands and they didn't follow through. So, maybe we can take from this that Arum doesn't believe the offer is worth the paper it is written on because of what happened previously?

It was Williams that came asking for this fight wasn't it?

I don't think Williams would have been on Arum's radar to fight Pavlik if William's hadn't come begging for it.

Actaully it was Arum offering the fight so as to get Williams off his welterweights...Arum wants no part of Williams and will do every thing in his power to avoid putting any of his fighters in the ring with him....Or at least he better being that whenever his name comes up next to margo's he claims that he will never work with him.

Not what I read. Williams watched a Pavlik fight and was convinced he could take him so he made the offer. Arum finally met it and Williams changed his mind.

Nah that isnt what happened..I guess your taking the word of a guy that is a proven lier??? Arum threw the Pavlik fight out as soon as Williams knocked out Quintana..He knew that he would be getting pressure to put him in the ring with Cotto and Margo which is something that he has refused to do...Truth be told Arum was tring to get rid of Williams and it didnt work.....

before williams an margo even happened, williams was talking **** about how he had sparred with margo an whooped his ass, an of course margos team denied it. williams turned pro with no ameuter experience and fought his way up to fight margo, the guy who no one wanted to fight at the time. williams beat him just like he said. williams got into margo's head in when he started talking **** about the sparring sesions and then actually beat him in a real match. margo doesnt have to fight him, so of course he wont take the chance of losing

It wasn't Arum that I remember reading about this. Well, in part. I readin Williams was watching Pavlik fight and Paul was nearly jumping up and down on the couch claiming he knew he could take Kelly. So, who sent feelers out first we may never really know. I have read Paul told Arum to raise his offer from $1.25 to 1.5 mill and the fight was on. Arum did that, then nothing from Williams. I do know from sources that Kelly was assuming that Williams would be his next fight at that point. Personally, I think Paul needs to step up in weight a little less aggressively, so that wasn't a bad move on his part. It just didn't match what he said. Not that THAT seems to be uncommon in boxing.
