HaHa Margo shamelessly ducked Williams and here is the proof that Arum and Margo are.

All this talk about asking for an immediate rematch is pure bull****, if you have been following recent quotes by both teams you will realise by now that Arum admitted he wanted none of it till his last article(a few days ago) where he said there is no way in HELL he will deal with Williams or his team ever again, meaning he doesn't want it and the reason is because Williams wanted more money for the Pavlik fight. Arum never had Williams in plan, they never wanted to fight him anyway till Williams FORCED the fight(something Margarito failed to do when he stuck by his WBO paper title when over six unified undisputed champions were available trading the title) by becoming his mandatory. Arum never wanted Margarito to take it yet he did and the result was clear, all the bull**** "most feared beast" on earth was proven to be junk and he nearly hit journeyman status right there as admitted on the countdown to Marg/Cotto. The plan for Arum was to make a Margarito vs Cotto fight and when Cotto proved he was ready(beating Shane Mosley) the fight was made. Williams was never in the plan not BEFORE and sure as hell not after he beat Margarito.

 

Would you read your own posts. This whole "he fights for pride not money" **** is just making you look like a ****in newb. Hey dip****, pride doesn't pay the bills.

What's bs is the idea that Arum and Team Margarito are always in lock step with each other. Margarito going to court with Arum in order to fight PW the first time is proof of that.

And you guys keep going on about this letter he wrote like 4 months ago like its breaking news. The fact is, in October, after he wrote that letter, Arum was interested in putting together a unification fight between Williams and Clottey, who had been calling out PW, at 147 for the BAD date coming up this weekend. Problem was there wasn't enough money in the HBO budget and Clottey got hurt. But a potential fight between the two is still in the works for 2009. So all this crap about Arum will never work Williams and there's no opponents at 147 willing to fight him is garbage.
