Mayweather had more blood coming out of him in the Cotto fight than he had sweat coming out of him in the Canelo fight!

We all know each fight is different.

Cotto would always be a problem for Mayweather stylewise.

I really hate the fact that Cotto is at 154. I just don't like the idea of him losing to inferior fighters, because they are bigger than him. Even though Trout beat him, I just never walked away with the impression that he was better. He was just the bigger guy. Not everyone is a Mayweather that can have success beating guys 15 lbs heavier than them.

Reread the title please. "cotto was TOUGHER than Canelo" I said nothing about the fact that floyd got a bloody nose or the toughness of the fight.

A past his prime Cotto that was demolished before by Pacquiao and Margarito indeed did better against the coward Floyd. I told this before, Floyd is crap and lame, he avoided the best opponent in his career in the past(which is Pacquiao), now we are left with pathetic crap of him fighting a limited fighter in Canelo, what is worse Canelo is weight drained.

Yeah, at the end of the circus, came out that a shot Cotto and a faded De la Hoya are actually better boxers than Alvarez.
Alvarez looked like he had never seen a shoulder roll before, or like he was going to fight a slugger and a brawler, instead of someone with some remote resemblance of skills.
He looked like he was surprised to be in the ring.
I feel pity for the ones that have bought the ppv hoping in an exciting match.

No they're not. Alvarez boxed better than Cotto did against FMJ. Canelo now is a better all around fighter than DLH was when he fought FMJ. DLH did have some success against FMJ early on, mainly becuase FMJ wasn't doing much in the early rounds and DLH was using the jab. In their prime, Cotto and DLH were probably superior to Alvarez now. But the knock on Canelo is that he hasn't reached his peak yet, and in this fight was weight drained. Canelo is just going to get better, whereas Cotto and DLH had their last hurrah vs FMJ.
