    it's no problem... i wouldnt say its a common term

    imo....

    a hail mary punch is just someone winging a big ass punch and that persons opponent happens to get hit by it and gets knocked out...

    basically a lucky punch that ended a fight

    No doubt, Had Froch not caught Taylor w/that big punch & finished JT off, different outcome. Froch was defo swinging to catch that "Hail Mary" & he did.... Prop's to him.
