Yeah, which i'd say it totally out of order. After any fight respect should be there.

Agreed,he needs more headmovement and to use a straight left and to get his shots off on the way in.There is more to come from him as he is only young but who can train him to bring him further on I don't know.Iam not so sure we have the trainers to do it.

Small showed no respect prior to the fight and deserved none after - he's British level at best and won few friends last night. As for Hughes the posters questioning him as a trainer are absolute morons :patsch

Small looked far better then I thought he would and Hall looked alot worse.

If Moore gets his world title shot soon he can fight Rhodes for the Euro belt

small built up the fight, alot more casual fans watched it because of his mouth. after the fight it's a different story. did you not see how mcintosh showed respect to cleverly after their fight.

Small is not a popular boxer but the guy has skill.

So he has yet to get any of thehype these other guys get. Hall was not up to the same level.

The last fight I saw small in was aginst I think Pryce. Couldnt believe they gave it to Pryce. Absolute robbery.

However, that is life especailly in boxing. A guy like Small just wont get a push like Khan/Hatton/Calzaghe/Haye because of his persona.

    Shame really.

Imagine Hamed in this climate today. Would be interesting to see how his career would have turned out. Seeing him last night was really sad. Shying away from the camera, that barrera loss really damaged him.

I think the Hall camp took Small's antics far too personally. That what he does with every fight is act arrogant. When I saw Small put his gloves out for the shake and Hall tried to refuse I straight away thought he was out of his zone.

And the trainer at the end persoinfied that mistake. The fight is over and your still angry about what happened before the fight. Move on.

if hall stopped clowning around, and realised that he is a decent fast counter puncher, he would do ok.

As a Gomez fan I would be a bit hypocritical if I thought Small was totally out of order in the build-up - and yes you're correct he did ensure it was a fight that everyone wanted to see. But there's fighting and there's mocking your opponent. Gomez used to roll up his sleeves and go to war - he didn't dance and prance around throwing comical jabs - as Small did in the first three rounds. Even Richie Davies warned Small to show some respect at the end of the fight - before he marched into Hall's corner as his team was checking if he was okay.:nono

He wasn't shying away, whenever he comes on tv he's always smiling and giving it like he always has.

as did I, I ****ing lol'd so hard but felt bad at the same time. He's such a bitter and **** trainer. I was just like "aww bless him, give him the credit at least"

A level above Hall, gotta admit man.

Yes. Gotta agree with this man. Naz is not shying away. But when he's on cam these days (same with the Ryan Rhodes interview) he just doesn't give a **** generally. I think he's enjoying his life. I can see he doesn't regret the Barrera decision. He has no urge to get back in the ring, and I'm so happy about that. He's not a fighter who doesn't know when to quit, he knows when its done.

Still, I would LOVE to know what made Naz hang it up, because something tells me it wasn't losing the streak.

I think Small did do well to hype thre fight

My friend who is a very casual watcher wanted to know the Hall result straight away when I spoke to him the otehr day. H tried to watch it but was on date at the time. He asked me if I had seen the 'hotting'( slang for when someone is being very aggressive to someone else) on SKY teh day before and he thought that Hall was gonna beat the **** out of him.

As for the trainer. That is pathetic behaviour as far as I am concerned. Small isnt exactly Mayorga and I still recall his oppponents and their tariners showing more respect than Hughes did
