The question is which of these two fights did you savor most seeing the underdog challenger defeat the supremely arrogant champ. Was it Marco Antonio Barrera's unanimous decision over the 'Prince' or James Toney putting the "Lights Out" on Nunn?
Hamed-Barrera for me. Because of Barrera's performance not because Hamed got his clown ass kicked. I really hated Nunn though. Boring style possibly made worse by the ridiculous hype.
Toney-Nunn. Seeing Toney knock Nunn out and remove the smirk of his face in Nunns hometown was awesome.
I don't like either Toney or Nunn, but watching Nunn get dropped in his hometown was exactly what he deserved.
I guess Barrera-Hamed, both because I despise boastful people and Hamed was ridiculously over-the-top in that regard, and also because of the comprehensive outclassing that fight was. Hamed's mystique was stripped away round by round in comprehensive fashion and that was extremely satisfying to see.
