green mayweather vs prime hamed is a great fight

floyd tried to get kos when he was green and could walk into some serious heat vs the devastating puncher hamed

however, lets not kid ourselves, floyd wins here, after a shaky start- a chop chop corley style fight

i love barerra and morales but both guys probably lose to the better boxer

morales gets closest but it would still be a UD

Marquez has only himself to blame. He was offered a career high payday to fight Naz, and turned it down. He then turned down a bigger payday to fight Morales, and turned it down.
He ended up fighting Chris John for $30,000. Absurd management from his team.

You can't really duck guy's who aren't in your weight class, although they were rumors back in the day of Morales&Barerra staying at SBW/FW as long as they did because Floyd was at 130.
At the end of the day no one will ever know.

You can make a case for Hamed cause he was just one weight below!

I heard Morales bashed Floyd up in sparring.

    > Due to numerous requests from readers wanting to know what really happened
    > between Erik Morales and Floyd Mayweather when they sparred at Big Bear, CA,
    > Diamond Damon went right to the source. Erik was not at home but I did speak with
    > Erik's chief second Fernando Fernandez who was there when they sparred. He told
    > me that when Erik and Floyd were sparring together on the first day that Floyd
    > was trying to teach Erik some of his defensive moves and Erik told him "No way,
    > you can't do it
    > like that or you'll get hit". Floyd didn't believe him so Erik started started
    > feinting him and then peppering him with shots. Fernando said Erik did land some
    > big shots on Floyd and that Floyd looked really surprised and eventually stormed
    > out of the ring all
    > ****ed off. The next day they were supposed to spar again but Floyd didn't show
    > up, electing to train in the afternoon instead of in the morning with Erik. The
    > same
    > story was told to me by Erik's brother Diego Morales, the WBO super flyweight
    > champion. Boxing Mania! reporter Ramiro Sanchez will be seeing Erik at the fights
    >
    > Friday night in Tijuana and will try to get more information. Erik is generally a
    > pretty
    > modest fellow so he'll probably try to downplay it, but I believe it's safe to
    > say that
    > Erik more than held his own with the larger Mayweather.

Morales put it on Mayweather a$$ in sparring that's why Mayweather was rooting hard for Pacquiao to beat Morales!

Personally of don't think they would have ever fought considering both EM and Barrera were at lower weights by the time Barrera and Hamed fought was Floyd even at 130 or had he started moving up to 140 ?
