Neither are all time greats but might someday make it to the hall of fame. should either of these guys make it considering guys like Barry McGuigan made it? who was better,or are they about equal?

Hamed by far, Hamed underachieved, Hatton overachieved

I am not sure that I would agree that neither were all time greats.

Hamed had more natural ability. Hatton had a bigger set of balls.

As for Hall of Fame, well they are the 2 most famous boxers in Britain over the last 20 years, so probably yes, especially if Rocky is in it

Hatton didn't have the balls to fight Hamed's poor imitation though. As for Hamed he showed allot of bravery at times, anyone remember Hamed talking about going to 168 to fight Eubank

Hamed said a lot of things, he was never at a loss for words.

Reminds me of Darchinyan talking about fighting Jermain Taylor at 160 thinking he could carry his power up. Couldn't even carry it to 118.

But as lefthook said, Hamed said a lot of things.

Benn and Eubank are alot more famous i'd say. Bruno and Lewis too probably. Hatton is Calzaghe level famous and Hamed is somewhere between

    Hatton was better.

His performance in defeating Tszyu far outstrips anything Hamed ever done. Hatton's resume is better and he was a more effective overall fighter in his lww prime than the hugely flawed Prince ever was.

    Neither are HOF-worthy IMO.
