Hardly. Love hime or hate him. Hamed brought a lot of excitment and $$$ to the lower weight divisions.
Unfortunately, boxing needs characters like Hamed a lot more than Hamed needs boxing.

I think I remember that, its also due to his style with the power he did have, the way he would throw those akward shots not tradition turning the shot over, sometimes he would come down on his left hand as if it were a hammer.

Poor guy, I always thought Barrera sent him packing but I do recall he had alot of hand issues.

 

Hamed had lots of haters,Kevin Kelley being one.Naz dumped him on his arse 3 times,and Kelley stated in the pre and post match presser's that Hamed wasn't a devastating puncher.Ironic ?
