Someone stated that Naz would have beaten Loma because he didn`t just stand in front of fighters the way Loma`s opponents do however I don`t think Linares, Pedraza and Rigo did that and I feel Rigo was harder to hit than Naz, would Naz be able to make his size and power count and win by KO though?
He doesnt outbox him either. First round would be close as they'd be testing each other but then hamed would be in complete control. His unorthodox awkwardness, reflexes, and shocking power would prevent rigo from finding his rhythm. Rigo needs to be able to pop his jab and move at his own pace to set up his cagey style and hamed wouldnt allow it. Rigo is ambushed every time he tries to make it a chess match. Hamed eventually starts using his wild hooks and hayemakers to put Rigo into a defensive shell as he stumbles around the ring and gets nailed whenever he opens up. Hamed scores a knockdown around round 4 and makes rigo go into survival mode grabbing excessively. Hamed wins by stoppage in the 7th after the ref and a frustrated crowd have seen enough stall tactics.
I dont think we've seen enough of loma to confidently say he'd "play with" hamed. Id favor him due to the clash of styles and Loma having way more discipline and an extensive amateur background, but naseem was no joke, had insane reflexes, and hits harder than the men who hurt Loma.
