Pointless to ask this on here as you will just get ridiculous answers Hamed at his best would beat the vast majority of the list at feather but most will have him losing to the majority.
Even though he never knocked out one single solitary HOF class fighter, he has proven this to you? :huh I don't remember Naz KO'ing too many people stone-cold with one punch, a la Julian Jackson and Bob Foster, do you? :huh I don't remember him blowing away world-class opposition like Thomas Hearns did (Duran, Cuevas) or George Foreman did (Frazier, Norton), do you? :huh Naz had excellent power, but you are way overstating it here and have no way to justify such a comment. So Hamed was unable to even put a dent in Barrera, but he would have a fair chance of stopping Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather or Juan Manuel Marquez? :huh Why? Why was he? Because he danced around like a fanny on his way to the ring? Because he wore funny shorts and embarrassed himself by talking utter shite in interviews? Is that what is really so special about this non-HOF fighter? Do you seriously think no-one else has pulled this kind of bollocks in order to gain a little notoriety? :huh Sorry to burst your bubble mate... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGwoGFeZhYE[/ame] How is having a shite defence and a dire lack of fundamentals a positive thing? :think This didn't make him a boxing pioneer. It made him a flawed fighter who was always going to be exposed once he met someone capable of capitalizing on his glaring weaknesses. And so it came to be. Hamed's style was not unique (many Ingle fighters fought similarly), and it was not effective at the top level. This 'style' was basically a guy who used his speed and power to go headhunting, had a weak jab, didn't know how to defend himself at all, and never threw effective combinations. Not really. The basis is the fact that Marco Antonio Barrera did what the people in the know had expected from day one. Slapped the **** out of him and embarrassed him by utilizing very simple but very effective boxing fundamental skills. The basis is also the way that guys like Kevin Kelley, Augie Sanchez and others found him very, very easy to hit because he was so small and had such a bad defence. The very idea that Hamed would have a snowball's chance in hell against Pacquiao, Mayweather, Marquez, Morales calibre fighters makes me laugh. That's like comparing a circus clown to a ringmaster.
Dont you mean NAZ ducking JMM? You know, how Steward admit it to?? And you are talking about the same JMM that was knocked down 3 times with a broken nose and still managed to get up and outbox a fighter of Pacquiao's caliber...The same JMM that has NEVER been stopped, despite fighting guys like Pacquaio, Barrera, Katsidis, and Mayweather 3 divisions above his prime weight. Despeite getting knocked down, JMM's counter punching, and accuracy would make Hamed look so ordinary...Just how Barrera made him look. And ya Naz put people to sleep, yet he didnt manage to put Barrera to sleep, and some could argue that JMM has a better chin than Barrera.
Mayweather UD Hamed KO Pac (pac would be too open, Hamed had way more power at FW than anyone else, Pac would land some, but eventually would get caught with something heavy) Hamed KO Morales (same as pac) Jmm UD Hamed (same as berrera) The rest Hamed KO
Despite Popkins vigorous objections, Naz is probably in the top two or three hardest punching feathers of all time, so you can't completely discount him against anyone, especially someone who'll want to stand and trade with him. I'm kinda sick of fantasy matchups, so I'll just say the ones I think are most obvious. JMM completely confuses and outboxes him for a surprisingly one-sided decision win, probably stops him late after an accumulation. He's the worst possible match-up for Hamed, and Naz' people knew it. Naz stops Rafa, Chris John and Izzy. Gamboa might have been too fast, Lopez might have enough pop to stop Naz in a war but would most likely get stopped himself first. Pac and EM are better fighters but their insistence on going to war would make a Naz fight very, very dangerous for them. PBF never fought at FW, but p4p he would just clown Naz all night long, and at LW Floyd was a murderous puncher himself. If he decided he wanted to sit down on this punches and hurt you, you were gonna get hurt.
Mayweather - Mayweather complete and total domination, TKO 8. Pacquiao - Beats up Naz and KO's him around 7-10. Morales - Outbox's and makes Naz feel foolish, comfortable UD. JMM - Beats up Naz and win's a comprehensive decision. Chris John - Outbox's Naz but get's KO'd late on, round 10-12. Y. Gamboa - WAR, Naz stops him in 5 after going down a few times. JM Lopez - Naz stops him in 8, quite comfortable. Raf Marquez - Naz stops him mid rounds, Naz has too much for him. I.Vasquez - another WAR although I think Naz stops him late, 8-10.
John beat Marquez, but is laughable that he would get stopped by Naz. He been dropped lesser powerful fighters and if Naz catches him, it is over. Yet, you have John getting stopped.
