Barrera was a actual boxer but Gamboa is not. Gamboa relies on his physical tools while Barrera put faith in his boxing skills.

The 3 officials scored it 4 rounds in MAB's favour, your made up score card is irrelevant.

NAZ was elite, with great power, a one off talent we have not seen before or since, under appreciated by haters because he's British and was cocky.

MAB a fellow elite and ATG great changed his style such was his respect for NAZ, 1 defeat to an ATG when you were nowhere near your best.

 

I know he fought some guy and retired but MAB retired him! And the fact is MAB is by far the best fighter he ever faced and when MAB schooled him his fans started bull**** not prime etc!!!

how many times did he hit it hurt? zero. he was never down past a 2 count because when he went down it was his unique balance that caused it.

 

How was he prime? 2 fights from the end of his career, lost his trainer Ingle...worst thing that ever happened to him. If you think hes prime in that fight I suggest you've not seen any of his fights apart from that one.

 

Gamboa is as often on the floor as Hamed.
They both got power, but Gamboa has balance while throwing bombs, Hamed doesn't.
Skill and technical wise Gamboa is lightyears ahead and that's why Hamed would be knocked out after going down a few times. Maybe Gamboa is on the floor, too, but gets up.
Gamboa is also the heavier, taller fighter with more range. Ever seen Gamboa vs a smaller fighter? Nearly all of his last ten opponents either had a significant height or reach advantage or even both.

 

Hamed has way more power than Gamboa! At the same points in their careers Hamed had a better KO ratio, youngest champ in british history and had the WBO titles (going on to unify). Gamboas ****ing 30 already! Hamed was retired 3 years by that age.....2 fights ago he was fighting a guy with 10 losses

 

You can't compare "samt points in their career".
Hamed started his career fighting 10 bums who were all much worse than Gamboa's first opponent

10 losses and is a two time world champion beating Juan Ma twice who not long ago was being praised as a future atg on eastside boxing ^^

If you want to do dumb and useless comparisons, it was Gamboa's 19th fight and Hamed fought somebody with 12 losses in his 19th fight ^^

 

Hamed destoys JML and probaly drops Gamboa 1 to 2 times but then gets overwhelmed by Gamboas speed and volume punhcing

 

when Gamboa unifies a division maybe i'll take this more seriously.....if Gamboa started off so well and Hamed was fighting bums then why is Gamboa further behind at this stage in his career? By 21 fights Hamed had a world title at super bantamweight and at featherweigh (and an EBU belt too as it goes)...where as gamboa who started of so strongly..doesnt make weigh-ins..and has no belts and in his past 5 fights fought guys with 10 losses and 13 losses?
