I agree. Boxing needs high profile personalities who fight exciting fights that people will tune in to see. That was Naz. I kind of liked him, so I made sure to watch when he was on. I also knew people who hated him, and they watched in hopes that he would get beat. It would have been better for the sport if he had continued to fight.
those who i dont know hamed or dont like is personality are dead wrong i saw many Hamed fights and was a big fan but i'm also realistic about where his skills stand relative to Pacquiao's. He is simply a notch below
BULL****. I always knew that the little horrible arab would get beat when he fought some one of MABS calibre. He had very good punch and some unique skills but he was never great. PACMAN WOULD DESTROY HIM
i see Pac as a superior fighter to prime Hamed, but the way Pac fights he could get decapitated by one of Hamed's out-of-nowhere uppercuts...a fight between them would've looked like the Hamed/Kelley fight, with both hitting the canvas and the fight ending explosively early...
how would he? pac would have to change his game, i'm sorry but you just don't walk through hamed and unload shots on him, if manny tried as great as he is he would be hitting the canvas, naz had absolutely brutal power. manny would have to change his game like mab did in order to beat the prince.
I am a fan of Naz but Pac would beat him, maybe stop him late. Hamed was a very good fighter who hit even harder than Pac but style wise, I'd favour Pac. Hamed often leant back, with Pacs fast straight punches and fast explosive bursts of speed he would catch Hamed time and again. Hamed would undoubtedly give him problems with his awkward style and phenomenal power but I see Pac picking himself off the floor early (Perhaps more than once) and stopping him in the later rounds. Either way it would be an amazing fight.
Anyone who comes straight at Hamed got knocked out, except for McColough who has a legendary chin. To beat him you need great defense and great counterpunching skills. Pac has the style to make it a great fight, but he would be kayoed. And people forget Hamed had a great chin, the only time Ive ever thought he was actually hurt was against Kelley in the third round, before he floored Kelly.
I cant bvelieve no one said it yet. . . Hamed is a punk. . . he had a very questionable heart. After getting schooled by MAB, instead of saying o.k. lets get back to the drawing board and get more technique. . . he just fukcin quit like a spoiled child. Pac would have beat him into submission.
No heart? anyone who knocked him down got brutally kayoed in return. thats heart. In his fight against 5'11 daniel alicea, alicea knocked down hamed with two huge rights in a row. Hamed got up at the count of 1 and stalked him. In the second round he landed a huge uppercut, then a straight right, then another huge uppercut to knock him out. It was brutal, and he did it right-handed if i remember correctly. Or getting hurt by Kelly and then knocking him down with a straight out of nowhere...the man has shown heart
The man had alot of heart, but unfortunately by the Barrera fight he had lost interest in the sport of boxing. This would have been a close fight, and i think both guys could KO each other, but id lean slightly towards Pac. Morales vs. Hamed was a fight that could/should have happened, and would have been just as, if not more, entertaining than this IMO.
he showed it against those guys, but the biggest test was how he would come back after getting schooled and slammed into the turnbuckle by MAB. . . he didnt even come back at all. That tells the story.
