Hammer beats Shields.

    Based on what I'm seeing tonight...I think Hammer beats Shields.

    Hammer looks too technically sound plus she has uppercuts in her arsenal...the very punch that dropped Shields.

    It will be a complete and utter domination, she may even stop her late. Hammer's going to have a field day picking her apart.

    I'm not sure about that. Hammer is kind of methodical and stiff. She does have height, reach and jab, but she might have a problem with speed. Shields, on the other hand, is not very hard to hit so it should be an entertaining fight.

    Now if she moved to 154, Braekhus is winning by UD.

    1) Hammer is fundamentally sound and won just as, if not slightly more, dominant against Nelson than Shields did, 2) Hanna Gabriel is extremely attractive and I would like to see her fight again because she fights exciting and is pleasing to the eye and 3) Despite the Showtime commentary I wasn't overly impressed with Shields. She looked wild and sloppy, her physicality may win her fights but her technique isn't there. I think Hammer takes her and I remember Laila Ali being much smoother even if that's not the case.

    But unfortunately she's part of showtime, so uh...Shields will somehow win this regardless of whether the opponent is better or not cause Al and Showtime said so. Cause if shields wins it's a 'victory for equality' blah blah blah, and it'll be all over news channels.

    Shields needs to tighten her hooks and choose her punches better to beat Hammer. I see Hammer winning by decision from jabs.

    Christian Hammer will obviously beat Shields, men usually cannot compete against females, its unfair for the women, the size and gender difference would be what separates the two. I am sure Shields is skilled but making her go up against a big guy is unfair.

    If hammer can nullify that aggression with movement and a good jab, she can probably win the fight... But that's easier said than done. Shields is a real scraper and isn't afraid to mix it up, so it's going to be real interesting for sure when they finally do.fight. 50_50 for me right now.

    Shields has better natural talent and has too much intensity for Hammer. Hammer couldn’t finish a 41 year old IHOP waitress last night but she’s going to KO a 23 year old who adapted and out witted the 35 year old veteran Gabriel’s. Okay.

    You guys hate Shields fine. Don’t let it dictate your ability to observe reality. If you gave Gabriel’s more than two rounds, you were being real nice or very biased.
