    Hamsho was underrated. He was basically a mauler with a strong chin. Valdez was a big hitter, but I think Hamsho's style could have smothered him, Even so, I would pick Valdez by decision or late stoppage.

    we dont actually know that Hamsho was inferior to Briscoe. Mustafa was able to deal with a lot of different styles and coped with them except for Hagler.

    You have to throw out the second Hagler fight. Nobody could have lasted long against that particular version
