Simpson would be too physical for Hamza.
He's also very good on the inside for a big man.
But ye it would be a good fight to make.

Hamzah Sheeraz is one of the most overrated British boxers in recent times and last night's poor performance where he seemed disinterested in the fight is not going to help.

People can say what they want , I know for a fact that was not the normal Hamzah last night , now the actual fact he came into start of the camp at 205lbs and cutting 45lbs to make weight .. so was the fight camp to spar and get ready for a world title fight? Or trying to trim them crazy lbs off ..

Hamzah was trying to gee himself up just before the bell rang to start the fight like to wake himself.

Frank Warren also hinted this may well be his last fight at 160 as Warren said he didn't look healthy on weigh in day ..

Adamas was nothing special but edged it on the night for me too , But a normal Hamzah beats him sorry ..Vs Ammo Williams who had similar physical attributes to Adamas and probably bigger and more powerful than Adamas Hamzah handled him with ease and outboxed him with a decent output per round..

Last night he couldn't throw anything, that's very very strange..

Hamzah needs to move upto 168lbs immediately..

Disagree mate Adames was to slick for him showed excellent movement and defence, Hamzah had no idea how to deal with it. Adames is also levels above Williams.

Relieved Adames, at least got a draw. I was fully expecting “The Ambassador” to have had his card already marked!

I disagree Hamzah was not his normal self .. being weight drained doesn't just effect you physically but mentally too.. this reminded me a bit of the Skeet fight when Hamzah was at 154, they moved him up then to 160 after .. he now outgrown 160 , he needs to be at 168 ..

I would also love a rematch with Adamas at 168 with Hamzah just to prove my point ...if Hamzah lost then I would fully say he not good enough at world level ..

it wouldn't prove your point though as Adames is a former 147 guy he's blown up to middleweight as it is. Sheeraz is just pish mate

    I think Adamas was 154 before ...not 147 ..

Also Adamas said he the best at 160 and 168 after the fight ..

Mate, we all have people we like to support.

You won’t get sympathy from people on here. This lot told me it was Liam Smith’s fault he put in a very bad performance after a bad weight cut and being bullied into a fight date. They are probably right to be a bit cynical but at least he had big mitigating factors although many often do. He balooned up in between Eubank fights when he had a bad back injury and could hardly move. This is after he’d destroyed Eubank in the fight previous which should have been taken into account for another rematch. This is not like your lad who’s done nothing. People will not care if he had to cut that much weight to make the weight he’s choosing to fight at in order to gain advantages. It’s his choice to do that. If he’s been a pudding between fights that’s on him, if he hasn’t and his body can’t keep his weight low enough by still leading a healthy lifestyle to fight at the weight then he has to move up. Personally I think someone that tall should be far heavier than that. It will not be an advantage for long and he is more likely to end up like many of his inbred ‘brothers’ from cousin marriages are in Bradford etc. Absolutely cabbaged and our taxes paying for him.

mate, you could've just taken one look at his boxrec page if you didn't know he was a 147 boxer.

No one is looking for sympathy lol all I'm saying is that wasn't the Hamzah we are used to seeing , that's nothing on Adamas he done what he had to do, but that was a poor showing by Hamzah and I'm putting it down to weight issues ..

We will see how he fairs at 168 ..

Also what has his cousins from Bradford got to do with that? Don't need to bring race into it..
