    I thought Adrian Broner was ludicrously overhyped (still better than Sheeraz, but you get my larger point).

    Going up in weight is not going to increase his fight IQ nor is it going to give him a killer instinct that he currently lacks. Much like Devin Haney, there is a reason he and his team opted for this weight class (he has to be the biggest MW I have ever seen lol) as we saw what happened when Haney faced a guy of similar size just last year. I think its even worse if he moves up to SMW or LHW as these divisions are much more competitive and they hit harder

    Thing is Hamzah has the killer instinct the guy was on a 15 KO streak lol you don't do that without a killer instinct..

    As I said , being weight drained doesn't just effect you physically it effects you mentally too .. it's just a unhealthy state to be in .. it also weakens your punch resistance.. yet Hamzah held up well in that area .. he will be a improved fighter once he at a more natural weight ..

    those KO's were from lesser quality opponents. when he faced a better one, he didn't have it in him to fight fire with fire. he just hid behind his jab and shelled up the entire fight when adames was pressuring him. And like you said, he seemed to do fine before at the same weight (against C level fighters). its just that he's facing a better opponent now so I doubt weight cut has much to do with it. And like me and some others are saying, MW is the weakest division right now and if he cant beat the best fighters there, then he sure as hell won't get to the top in a much more competitive division like SMW or LHW.

    Yeah weight was not a talking point in the weeks before the fight, and there was no mention of struggling with the weight when he's facing the likes of ****ing Tyler Denny and River Wilson-Bent:risas3:, no hand injuries after those fights either:risas3:

    It was a classic case of a domestic level fighter stepping up and being found out.
