Well Ammo hit him clean with the back hand he was more caught cold than hurt badly in the 2nd round .. I truly believe we will see the best version of Hamzah at 168lbs .. he will be a monster at 168lbs ..
He looks good from what I've seen of him (which isn't a lot). MW is pretty barren right now. It's looking for another apex predator. Janibek is obviously one but there's room for more.
Very good performance, turned out to be pretty 1 sided in the end but I'd still like to see how he does against another top 10 guy before jumping in with Janibek/Adames. Been calling out Eubank Jr for some time now, that would be a classic back over on these shores.
Timing is everything yes I agree before Janibek/Adames , Eubank Jr would be the perfect fight at this stage Hamzah would be too much for Eubank and I doubt he will fight Hamzah anyway ..
I thought he looked good (but he's quite slow, lacks speed) However, Williams was ****ing terrible. And the Middleweight division is the weakest it's ever been. Alimkhanuly is far ahead of everyone else.
Sheeraz comes across as a bit of a flat track bully to me; I see him coming unstuck against someone who can take his power and fire back.
Tall skinny fighters have almost unfair physical advantages if they know how to use them but they can often be a bit chinny. I'm one of the world's leading authorities on punch resistance so I'm always analysing fighters and fights from that perspective Could be. He did look really good against Ammo. He called out CEJ but I suspect CEJ might swerve him. Sheeraz vs Janibek is the fight to make and I'd love to see that one ASAP.
He relies heavily on his height and reach, the higher he goes up in weight the less of a height advantage he will have, he`ll need to become more active at 168, his work rate isn`t that high right now.
I think that`s a little harsh, however he does lack head movement and his footwork is a bit slow, his hands are quick though.
His workrate can improve , but he doesn't waste any punches ...he lands most of his shots, he has very good timing ..
If that guy is a future king at middleweight, than one of boxing's longstanding glamour divisions has certainly fallen on hard times.
Agree with this. Could never imagine this being said about him 10 years ago with a crop of guys like Jacobs, Lemieux, Quillin, Abraham, Lee, GGG, Saunders etc
