I dont hate him, I just dont rate him. He might scoop a belt or two against sub par of semi retired opposition but hes never going to be world class

Jab, range control, mixing it up, fundamentals. All great words but we have never seen any of them in action against a fighter with skill that can fight back and without that we have no way to judge them. I also dont agree. His fundamentals are basic at best. His jab looks great against a stationary opponent, just as it looks great against the bag. Same goes for range control, when most of your opponents are completely past it, semi retired, flat footed plodders then its easy for any youngster to move in and out like he practices on the bag

Im not saying hes terrible, he isnt, hes solid. He just isnt special or world class. Im tired of seeing average promoted as world class, match made against "names" who are years past being capable for the benefit of filling a promoters pockets

 

That's your opinion on him, and I have mine , I guess we will see in the near future who is right ..

Williams is a lot better than most give him credit for. But his chin keeps letting him down.
What a shame.
