This might be a weird question, but, do certain hand types lend themselves better to being suited for hard punchers than others? What kind of hands do hard punchers usually have?

Tends to be that large wrists (girth, if you will) translates to better punching power

Manny steward (Lord rest his soul) said there was a correlation between hard punchers and size of hands. He said Lennox and Klitschko had humongous hands. And Holyfield's manager/ lawyer said this about evanders dad: "now I know where he gets his strength from, his dad had fists the size of frying pans. I'm just spitting two seperate instances, I'm sure there's always smaller hand punchers... Oh yeah, when toney fought Holyfield they said 'hows he gonna win with those little hands?' And when Miguel cotto fought the Wildman from Nicaragua, Ricardo Mayorga said"he has girl hands" possibly the reason why he never dented a game Margarito in part two. As well small hands get the job done too. Kieth Thurman said Pacquiao's fists with the cleto Reyes gloves he hit like mini cinder blocks!

    Big head

    Big hands

    Big wrists

    Broad shoulders

    Wide natural bracialis muscles

    Large forearms

Those are usually the giveaway to me.
