if hughie fury claims he has never lost a round in he's opinion, despite the judges given 2-3 rounds agianst him in he's career, then thats he's opinion and he has a good claim to it if you watched the fight.

I can comprehend your logic but in your logic, roy jones lost in korea and when he says he didn't lose he is actually a lying idiot. iv seen him say it many times so you must also agree.

 

Roy Jones is discussing the fight in the context of everyone knowing the judges' decision. Therefore you will always understand that his intention is "I think I deserved the win."

The Hughie case is fundamentally different because people aren't going to know the details of his resume. Your first interpretation will almost assuredly be that he has literally never lost a round. Misleading people is just a form of lying. This matters a lot because every fighter claims they've never deserved to lose. Actually having never lost a round would be an incredible achievement that Hughie is abusing.

If telling me to "Watch the fight" didn't mean anything to me the first time you said it, why do you think it's going to mean something to me the tenth time you say it? Are you related to pow? Are you cared for in the same institution?

 

he doesn't say ' i think i deseved the win' he says ' i won that fight'. you should be tearing him to pieces because he is using the same logic hughie is and Roy is lying. Same with jacobs who said after the ggg fight, he won the fight, he is also a liar by your logic.

no the person listening to him has free will, you are assuming that they are stupid and will jump to conclusions, when someone makes a subjective statement like that ,its up to you interpret it and decide if he's opinion is subjective or objective. I have watched almost all he's fights i know on the judges scorecards it has him losing rounds, but if he's opinion is he never lost a round, then he is entitled to he's opinion as it's subjective and having watched he's fights its a fair opinion to have.

because you say he is trying to mislead people and lie, why don't you go and watch the fight and find out if he's subjective opinion of never losing a round is valid rather than just taken the judges scorecard as fact. Telling you to go watch the fight is not some sort of gotcha question, if you go and watch the fight and don't agree with fury's subjective opinion then you are more than entitled to that view.

Its like mayweather, if he said he didn't lose 6 rounds to canelo, is an interviewer going to turn around and say well one judge had you losing 6 rounds so you did lose them rounds. No because its he's subjective opinion and he is entitled to it, same way jacobs is entitled to he's opinion and jones jr is too

 

99% of the people who see this interview aren't going to comb through Hughie's records to see if he's lost rounds. The natural reaction is to interpret Hughie's statement as literal, as in, Hughie has never lost a round by the judge's scorecards. This would be an incredible achievement. But Hughie has never done this. He's misleading people and abusing that achievement.

by saying that you are admitting fury has said nothing wrong and the blame is actually on the uninformed people who havn't seen on he's fights or are stupid enough to take him at he's word

yes you should be better informed, example , someone is selling you a car ,they say ' this is the greatest car ever, it cost a million dollars, you should sell your house and buy it' and its a old rusty ford fiesta. You aren't going to turn around and say i have to buy it he says its the greatest car ever.

Why? because you have free will. you don't have to take him at he's word. and the salesman is entitled to he's opinon, maybe he thinks for some crazy reason that old rusty ford fiestas are the greatest thing in the world and worth a million dollars but its ridiculous.

while furys subjective opinion that he hasn't lost a round has substance to it if you watched he's fights. Its like when you watch pbc and they call wilder the heavyweight champion of the world, and never make reference to the other champions. They make out like he is the man ,head and shoulders above the rest. You are being lied too and its up to you to work out if it is a lie or not

only stupid people will be mislead and take them at their word, its why they say a fool and he's money are easily parted , maybe someone will watch this and put their life savings on hughie winning on the merit of him saying he has never lost a round.

its only misleading if you have no knowledge of the subject what so ever and you take what he says as meaning judges scoring rather than he's subjective opinion. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to blame fury for this.

And i don't know why you don't show the same scorn for Jones jr, Danny Jacobs, Kovalev etc who all said they won when they lost. I guess they are lying and misleading people too

Genuinely looks like Elvis has reincarnated to become one of the slickest boxers around.

 

His skin does look clearer. One of his fights u could see them openly bleeding up close, got that bad. Good to see he is over it

 

Hughie is a big man that can box, whips in some fantastic shots to the body... although he lacks power.

That said, he's still young and his man strength is still to come. Now he's fit and not battling illness, I expect we'll see the best of him against Parker.

 

Two judges awarded Radenko 2 rounds and the other awarded him 3 rounds.

The guy arguing that never happened is an imbecile. No other word for it.

 

Hughie didn't say I've never lost a 3rd round, or I've never lost a 5th round, or I've never lost a 10th round.

He said he'd never lost a round, full stop. So which rounds Hughie lost to Rudenko is irrelevant.

The fact is Hughie lost rounds and is statement is wrong. Just as you are in trying to support it.
