I'm working all weekend so won't bother with this. Would've stayed up to watch Billy otherwise and if I wasn't too tired, possibly watched main event.

I'll try watch it all on youtube or whatever Sunday night. I'm easily pleased and enjoy a circus from time to time. I'd enjoy watching two thicks having a scrap out me back garden so why not watch it on the box. It is what it is. These fights don't offend me because they make little or no difference to the boxing world.

Just watched on catch up (no I didn’t buy it).

BJS looked like crap...looked fleshy...needs to take boxing seriously. Just fluffed his US showcase against a no mark by almost getting beat...it was so dull I had to skip big chunks and even the crowd booed.

The “main event” had enough controversy to be mildly entertaining but wouldn’t bother watching if you’re thinking about it.

After the numbers, the YouTubers have generated across all platforms, these type of events will be happening again and again over the next 12-18 months, especially on DAZN.

At least until the novelty wears off or one of them gets seriously injured.

That’s the thing. Given the deaths there have been in the ring of late should promoters really be encouraging two random youtubers to go at it without headguards and with 10oz gloves, just to make a quick buck?

Before the usual suspects ask about the number of buys, this Walt Disney production broke all global records.

Eh Day Hearn has no shame at all and he should be at Buckingham Palace soon to receive his PPV for services rendered to himself.

Why would they be in any more danger than anyone else making their debut?

Why don’t you engage your brain and think about why that might be?

Nope. Still not getting in. They look in great shape. They’ve been training with very experienced pros. Both have been afforded the sort of financial training camp that a novice would typically only be able to dream of. They’re obviously pretty evenly matched.

All DAZN and Matchroom will be seeing is the numbers generated and how these type of events are the gateway to breaking the American and Global market.

I watched a replay on a stream and the referee did KSI a huge favour in the 4th round, had he not intervened and stopped the action , KSI would have been badly knocked out and realistically that would have been the end of it.

With the money these YouTubers have at their disposal not only do they have the luxury of being able to employ a whole team of experts, they can also afford the super undetectable " Supplements " and this is what also makes it dangerous.

I watched it back this morning just because I had nothing better to do (probably why I’m bothering to entertain @TonyHayers this morning) and agree. It was a bit naughty holding his head and uppercutting him but a pro wouldn’t have been penalised like that, and he barely hit him while he was down. It was essential a big cruiserweight against a light heavy and anytime the bigger guy connected clean it was going to do damage. Fortunately he didn’t have the skills to do so.

I think it’s a bit irresponsible giving such a fight a profile like that and selling it as a pro fight, given how dangerous a sport it is. Not a slight at Hearn, I’d do the same if it made me a decent wedge but I don’t think it’s going to grow the market interested in genuine pros...it’s just going to lead to more freak shows and someone getting hurt...just because they look in shape it doesn’t mean they’re capable boxers. Look at Andy Ruiz...
