Id honestly put Garcia above those guys. If he catches them with that left, they're done. Kam outdogs Haney and stops him, same with Tank. Loma would make them all quit except Kam. Haney won't beat any of the above. Nor will Tank. I'd pick Tank over Haney just due to power. Bit those guys days are absolutely numbered if they don't move up.
If he goes in his natural weight division, he will be KO'ed really bad. I would bet that Prograis KO's him inside 7 rounds.
I agree with everything you said but here's the thing. Tomorrow I might not agree with anything you said. The lightweight division is filled with intriguing matchups, each with numerous, legitimate potential outcomes. I just hope we get to see some of them.
Twink should've lost his last fight to a C level oompa loomp with a baby kangaroo reach Imagine the merciless crap Loma would get for even having a difficult fight against someone like Cruz, let alone going life and death against someone like that or losing to them
I actually suspect Twink has good punch resistance but he's fought so very few punchers, let alone genuine world class or top ones his own size, it's hard to know for sure. The only puncher his own size or bigger he's fought I can think of is Barrios and he hasn't legitimately beaten anyone world class. Cruz hurt him a bit a few times but he was taken the distance in four of his previous five fights and isn't that hard a puncher. The Magdaleno blow out was impressive but he took him out with a sequence of flush heavy combinations which is something Twink was deathly afraid of allowing Cruz to do. Hence immediately grabbing a hold of him like an octopus whenever he got into range or backed him onto the ropes. And Magdaleno was bounced up and down off the canvas and blasted out in 2 rounds by KO 36% Terry Flanagan too. Haney, however, is getting badly hurt or rocked by fighters he's much or way naturally bigger than. To be fair, even though Linares way well past his best and Haney is much naturally bigger than him he can punch. But let's be honest he was badly hurt by that right hand at the end of round 10 and had it come 10-20 seconds earlier Linares who is a great finisher would've finished him. Jojo Diaz is a blown up 126-130 pounder max who was featherfisted against opponents his own size, let alone against giant lightweights who come in at 155 or higher and have a 7'' reach advantage on him. He'd only stopped 2 of his previous 13 opponents.
I rate Loma and Kambosos the top two then for me it's a toss up between Tank and Garcia but I lean towards Tank. I have Haney well below those guys, to me he plain sucks is a basic jab one two guy with no power a shaky chin and leaky defense, I could even see a guy like Commey or Nakatani beating him, in fact I would give Commey and Nakatani a good chance of beating Garcia and Tank as well.
Garcia has the speed and power to KO anyone in his division, the problem is his questionable chin and toughness factor.
I do. Haney gets wobbled in every fight he has. Not only does this happen against shop-worn fighters, he's always the bigger guy. One bad weight cut and he's getting sparked. Same for Tank.
Exactly. These guys are both packing glass. Garcia starches both of them. Kambosos knocks them both out and so does Loma. They are GLASS JAWED FRAUDS, both of them!
