Who the hell turns down the opportunity to snatch 3-4 belts despite having a poor resume? A freaking ducking ass weight bully!
I followed the lightweight division quite closely recently to find out which one get Kambosos. Kambosos wants a big fight next, but there are two things he demands : big money and fight in Australia From what I've read, Haney had the lead due to his WBC belt which of course Kambosos is also after and the fact that Haney is more, well, beatable (than Loma). However, it seems that Haney is after big money as well and it is very unlikely to generate big income in Australia, especially in current situation. Yes, it seems despite of his wanting this fight greatly, the dude backed out for lack of payday. The guy think he is some top 5 P4P bigshot.
Where is your source to back your claim? From interviews Haney and his team definitely want the fight.
yes, maybe in your dreams. But anyway, that's perfect then, he can always fight a fellow countryman and make "the big money" Problem solved.
American fighters these days are just a disgrace. Don’t want to fight, ever. But want 5 million just because. Oh and it better be for a title. And by the way, he’s too young, he shouldn’t be expected to fight the best contenders even though he has a belt.
He can do whatever he CAN. He wants the big money, and for that, he's not enough. "millonaire", well, he made 1.5 millions vs lopez. After paying everything, maybe, maybe, he got a million, so yes, we can say that a guy with 1 million is a millionaire, right? The champ part, he better enjoys it now that he can. Because it is not going to last very long. I dont agree the most winable champ is haney. The most winnable champ is Kambosos. Were he willing to fight out of that jail named Australia his next fight would be already scheduled, his belt is an easy belt for any really top fighter in the division.
Standard American hypejob scheme = weight bully (check), cherrypicking shot guys (check), ducking actual competition minimal risk taking (check), acting like you'll fight anyone (check). These guys are taking minimal risk really and getting paid thousands/millions for it. Not to say other fighters from different countries don't follow this hypejob strategy, but America has popularised it. Haney is not only a fraud but he is extremely boring to watch.
But he is the champ, and he is a millionaire. If Haney doesn't wanna chase him then what's the point of him even competing ffs.
