He might be skilled, but he is just damn boring and has no power. Its as if he and the other guy agrees before the match "now remember, we're only going to play nice. Don't throw none of that hard **** at me".

Go for the KO every now and then dude or atleast attempt to. I mean as morbid as it sounds, we fans want to see somebody get knocked out cold in the ring and given Haneys size advantage there is no reason why he can't do this. Even Floyd went for KO's in his career or atleast early on before going defense.

That said I think things will get more exciting when he moves to 140. I'm not sure if he will or not as I don't follow him closely, but if he does he'll run into major roadblocks. He already has no power as it is at 135 so the top guys there like Tank will run through him offensively speaking, but defense? Idk, maybe Haney has a chance to outpoint them if he can take their hits.

Haney is never going to be a puncher, but he dropped and wobbled Prograis on several occasions. It's not his fault Prograis would not take any risks.

The style employed by Haney isn't casual friendly but it's good to see a young American fighter be active and seeking out challenges.

Yes, he needs to play the villain like Floyd to win the casuals over to compensate for his boring style.

    Absolutely agree

Can't deny he is skilled but I couldn't care less about watching him

I was actually very entertained watching him dismantle a top fighter.

I coach my six year olds soccer team. Yesterday we had the Championship game. We got there undefeated. We played a team who gave us a two hard games, we beat them once in regular season 3-1, and 4-0 in the semi finals. And despite the wide scores, they were nail biters. Their only two losses were to us out of 12 teams.

In the Championship we destroyed them 7-0.

Some would say it was a one sided boring game, but many especially the parents and several in the commission were amazed at how my team has matured throughout the season and were very entertained.

I guess I just took this moment to brag about our Championship win yesterday lol, and to make a point that it's all in the eye of the beholder. I was very entertained by Haney last night. He was matured very well, and enjoyed how he systematically broke down the #1 or #2 SLW fighter.

Amazed by Haneys skills and gifted boxing ability. Do wish for more action over 12 rounds sometimes. Loma fight was great though

The Loma fight was intriguing and I think he’s an elite level fighter. He may not be as exciting as Tank or Wilder, but he’s certainly great to watch from a pure boxing standpoint.
