I'm pretty sure there are weight divisions for a reason. Otherwise, every fight would be David vs Goliath.
He rehydrates 20lbs bare minimum and the fact that his dad didn't deny it was 24lbs says it all Loma comes in at 140 max. Unless he's put on a couple of pounds of late. So it's 15lbs bare minimum and 5.5'' in reach and that's just ring weight not natural size. The narrative they're trying to push is that Haney is more skillful than Loma and size has no bearing in this fight which is not only comically absurd it's demonstrably false and easily so Size isn't just weight it's length too and when you outweigh your opponent by 2 or 3 divisions and have a way longer reach than them it's much easy to keep the fight at your range and that's exactly what Haney is doing against all the blown up 126, 130 and average sized 135 champs he's fought, which numbers 4 in total and 2 were shot. And then he hugs them to death whenever they get into range with those amazing ''skills'' of his
I don't literally think he's picking on anyone, just that no one should be surprised that he gets criticized for squeezing down and fighting smaller guys. The old saying "pick on someone your own size" does imply bullying, but also indicates that someone may not be so tough, so brave, or so good when they don't have the size advantage to hide behind.
well, hes fighting in a division full of guys his size, he has no choice but to be tough. loma is the odd man out, its not the job of the rest of the division to accommodate him.
