Haney vs Loma - Post Fight Review

Morretti a good judge. Get a life,

 

Good vid as usual. Close rounds aside from the 10th and 11th, but giving Haney more than four is a stretch.

 

Poor ol Moretti. You realize he gave Loma the 7th, I think it was, to Loma when the other 2 gave it to Haney. They only agreed on 5 rounds given to Haney and 3 to Loma. The rest were mixed. To me, that says the fight was difficult to judge. But, to your point about Moretti, I would love to sit with him and rewatch the 10th and have him explain why Haney won that round.

That's my main reason for singling him out. The rounds in the rest of the fight were close so could reasonably go either way, yet he gives one of the few clear ones to the wrong man. Couple that with his Davis-Garcia 10-10 round and I just don't think the man needs to be judging anymore. I'm not even crying corruption either, I just think the man is incompetent at it.

I mean, I'd be willing to hear him out in both instances of course, but I just cannot fathom any real justifications for either.

Oh yeah, I didn't think you were and didn't intend to come off as confrontational or anything like that. Just adding to the discussion

 

Excellent video as always. I scored it 7-5 Haney but have no problems with 7-5 loma or a draw.
