If Haney can't beat 35 year old Loma he should retire along with all them other chumps Lopez, Kambo etc
@miniq This is a common trait of his. He tells you your wrong and then doesn’t say why. Though 8 do agree with him in this case.
Good analysis Rummy, my thoughts on this fight are Haney will control distance with his superior size and length and when they get inside those advantages will stand out in clinches with the smaller man. One line from the video I really liked is" Haney will make Loma fight outside his comfort zone" I like the Haney by UD prediction as well, Oh, one other thing Rummy. After your Joyce Zhang video you should no longer say you don't know sh#t about boxing, the evidence says otherwise. I believe this video is as predictive as well...
I agree 100% with you this time, Rummy. Haney's strength, size (he is huge compared to Loma) and ring IQ wins him a UD. And yes Loma needs to start out quicker because it's going to the cards, and he needs to avoid the clutches of Mr Octopus himself, which I think he can do as he's great at swimming around his opponent.
I believe this fight has the potential to be one of the best fights of the year, with two highly skilled fighters facing off against each other. It's going to be interesting to see how these two fighters match up against each other, and who will come out on top. In my opinion, this fight could go either way, as both fighters are highly skilled and have the ability to knock each other
I think the general feeling that Haney is too big and will spoil when necessary is probably right. However, I believe not only should Lomachenko start fast, but he should avoid resetting from distance as much as he can. Lomachenko already gives himself too much grief by trying to close and counter on bigger men. He should stay on the gas, give Haney's power little respect, and work feverously out of the clinches and complain incessantly if Haney holds at all. He should also focus a lot on the body because we know Haney is tight at the weight. Lomachenko can probably win that way, though I think Haney by UD is probably the safest bet.
Haney brings absolutely nothing to the table that Loma hasn't seen a thousand times before. Loma will carve through him like a hot knife through butter, it will shock people how easily Loma beats Haney.
