Great boxer but no power and a touch chinny he is going to get chinned by a powerhouse like Tyszu, Maidana, Mattysse type fighter or Amir Khan when he moves up. Might be able to make 135 for 2 more years if he's lucky.

Anyone at 140 these days? I'm out of touch.

I'm surprised he made it to 135 for this fight.

Dude's just 25 and already undisputed, something Khan never achieved, and Haney's never been knocked down so his chinny chin chin is overblown, much like Canelo's when Budget Cotto hurt him. Then he took GGG's and Jacobs' best and stopped Kovalev and many others. Weight gain has no singular say on chin and power and sometimes less weight cut and more muscles on the legs help both.

Last time I checked Khan beating Maidana in 2010 at 24 made him the dog the man the cream at 140 whilst Timmy ran up after a cuts stoppage STINKER against Alexander.

& Khan wasn't beating on old midgets he was beating a G who morally beat Floyd.

I think he won't like it as much, but worth keeping in mind that if a third of what is said about Haney's weight shedding is true, he is going to be released big time from limitations to his work-rate, his stamina and maybe even his chin.

It will be interesting to see.

Haney is 100% chinny. Did you miss multiple Bambi legs versus Linares?? Or how he hugged for dear life for 3 whole minutes?????

    Haney is definitively CHINNY.

Haney is good but no where near great. his size has benefitted him at 135 as he weight bullys. He will get his ass handed to him at 140.

I checked his record on boxrec again for stoppage losses like many of you predicted Lomachenko will hand out one and I don't see any?

hes very skilled with good footwork, punch variety, bodywork, counter punching. I dont see anyone at 140 who can press the pace like Lomachenko or has that kind of speed or foot work. Sure the cream at 140 match his size and hit harder than 135 guys but i dont see anyone who matches his speed. without the weight cut he might be better conditioning-wise and his punch resistance would have to be better
