Maybe with a one-sided rehydration clause on Garcia, Harvey Dock as the referee again, and Max Deluca and his two clones as the judges, Haney can sneak a draw.

It’s certainly possible. Haney could possibly beat Garcia in a rematch.

    In saying that,

Anyone that thought Garcia would defeat Haney should put on a blindfold and cross a busy highway and come back and ask themselves if that was a smart decision.

Afterwards, if they’re still alive, after they did the impossible, they should sit down eat their own ****.

You don't get hurt, stunned, dropped and outmuscled that much in a fight on your way to the losing side of a decision and win the rematch...............when you get manhandled that decisively (and he did everytime Ryan let loose), the writing is on the wall. Ryan is what you call a stylistic foil for Haney. Even while many of us (me included) were favoring Haney's discipline over Ryan's physical superiority, there were a number of us (again me included) saying even though Haney should win, he might get clipped..................and he got clipped over and over.

They're lucky Ryan lacks discipline because Haney would've gotten brutally stopped, he almost did anyway 'there but for the ref stopping an onslaught.

He should probably stay clear of Ryan. A quick heavy handed hitter is gonna gumshoe him every time. He might even be safe against slow footed hitters (like Prograis), but guys that are explosive with faster hands/feet...........this should be a wakeup call for his team.

E-Hearn is still trying to push this false narrative that Ryan weighed more than Haney even though Haney was bare minimum significantly, as per usual, the heavier man

''Garcia definitely had a physical advantage in the ring'' (as in weight wise) -- E-Hearn

No he didn't you liar. Haney did just like he always does it just wasn't as much as it usually is or an obscene amount like it was against Loma.

The irony of Haney fans of all people using size and weight excuses is so goddamn comical it could only be lost on them. The funny thing is, even many garbage pro Haney YT channels are now trashing Haney about the weight but the reason they are is because they're also or are Twink fans too and the Haney and Twink fans have a running feud going due to the rivalry between the two fighters. They've even started accusing Haney of bieng a weight bully ever since the prospect of Twink facing him has arisen and they believe that Twink is totally justified for wanting a rehydration clause if they do fight because a big weight advantage for Haney would be really unfair on Twink. But not a single peep out of any of them about size when Loma was giving away 20lbs and six inches in reach to Haney on the most insanely stacked deck with a 36 hour weigh in. Size got completely ignored then even though Twink has a two inch longer reach than Loma, weighed more at 130 than Loma does at 135, and a whole division more at 135 and hits like a truck who ''KOs HWs in the gym'' so it's all rather comical to watch.

Haney cannot beat Ryan and I'll tell you for why.

    1. He just don't got the whiskers to take that power

    2. He ain't some supremely skilled defensive specialist

    3. Ryan fought within himself and he still would've KO'd Haney had the ref not been batting for Team Haney. If Ryan comes in better shape for the rematch and can actually sustain his attacks mark my words Haney is getting KTFO. Ryan could only attack in spurts but everytime he did mount an attack with conviction or put his shots together he hurt or dropped Haney

And next time Team Garcia is going to make a big fuss about Haney's excessive holding which will be the nail in the coffin for Haney and there's going to be a lot of eyes and pressure exerted on the ref (albeit to be fair they'll still probably be crooked and batting for Team Haney) to clamp down on it.

Haney is a product of the US hype machine and the ghastly abomination what is modern US slickness which consists of: Being a massive weight bully, holding like an octopus all night, running like a gazelle, often stinking out the joint with your hideously boring safety-first, risk averse style, and relying on your home ref to allow you to get away with it from first bell to last and your three home judges to rob your opponent.

And getting paid a fortune, hailed as a great, and skyrocketed up the P4P rankings undeservedly

Did they really say that the guy who couldn't get a one legged, shot, old Gamboa out of there until round tweleve, knocked out heavyweights?

The same Gamboa who tore his Achilles tendon in round two?

    Yes they did

And that's the always very chinny Gamboa who was real chinny even way back in his prime and has been dropped in like 11 separate fights

Not only this, but IF a rematch were to happen, Garcia is the draw so whatever he wants is what the terms would be. Haney would have to concede to everything.

IMO we will see Haney carefully handpick his next few opponents because any big hitter out there would see blood in the water and try to make a name for themselves. Doesn't mean Haney wouldn't beat them but some fighters go on tilt after a first L

There will be no rematch as Oscar stated. The fight wasn’t close. Haney took a beating and Ryan broke his jaw. Garcia can’t make 140 as he stated so he’s moving on up and leaving Haney to be brutalized by Matias, Pitbull, and anyone his same size who can punch.

I reckon Haney’s chin has been cracked I think that he is done and if he is not matched very carefully next he is going to get knocked out again.
