I pose this question out of pure ignorance, I havent seen too many of his fights. Could he make an impact in the heavyweight division or is he another Valuev, or not even that?
He's a Korean who fights in K-1. He's 7'2'' AND 360 pounds. He was knocked dead with an overhand right by Mighty Mo. He has very little skill. Mighty Mo tried his hand at pro boxing this year and was outboxed by a fighter with a sub .500 record.
Absolutely not. The guy has absolutely horrendous stamina. The sweat is already rolling off his body by the end of Round 1. Not to mention he makes Tye Fields look like a prime Ali when it comes to handspeed.
Im watching video of him now and must say that yes, he is abosolutely terrible. Just slow, lumbering, doesnt sit down on his punches at all. Makes me appreciate Valuev.
That would be Mighty Mo. [YT]kY9wj74As9Y[/YT] Only took a single overhand right to put Choi to sleep.
He's an MMA fighter, and only had one pro bout. He's fighting Fedor in the new MMA organization M-1 Global.
now fighting in M-1 Global...a mixed martial arts organization, Octagon cage based like the UFC. He's signed a multi-bout deal. The K-1 fight was an MMA debut. He's an MMA fighter.
He lost 3-4 times in K1. The video above clearly shows him getting starched. He also lost to Remy Bojanski. He also fought Sapp. A fight which I thought he lost badly but won the decision. He also fought Gary Goodrich and many others in K-1.
