Reile starts sprinting around the ring and popping hard jabs. Santana chases and finally grabs and ties her up. Reile commits to jabbing and running, and is actually doing pretty well with it. Santana comes in lobbing a low underhanded right. Reile winning the round, sticking her jab and staying on the go. Santana is grabbing her behind the head, pushing down, and unloading body shots when she gets close. Reile closes strong with a side-to-side volley of power shots.

Could be tied up, or 3-1 for Santana depending on how the 1st went.

 

Reile goes down, from more of that behind-the-head pushing. Reile barking on the release of her shots as a lot of American amateurs are programmed to do. Santana is just putting earmuffs on as "Stay-Lo" is true to her nickname, shoeshining to the body on a low plane of attack.

Good slapping combos by Santana backing up. Reile grinding away at her, making her work...but the slaps of Santana are landing cleaner than anything she's doing.

Reile slaps her way into a clinch. Santana is tagging her with right hands down the middle now. Lots of slapping both ways, Reile ultimately diving in to hug.

Both are flurrying hard and landing clapping shots to the head and body before the clinches. Santana chasing. Reile letting her hands go, quicker but not as damaging. Reile (the American) won, then. She is the one who looks Hispanic and is much taller (Boxrec has her 5'4 1/2"). Santana was the black one, who is Dominican and obviously shorter although Boxrec has her at 5'6".

That makes more sense. I was wondering why the Costa Ricans were booing the gal from the islands winning. :yep It was the damn American, that's why.
