    funny how they never called him slappy after a fight? For a guy with brittle hands, he didnt half take the word by the scruff of the neck

    Slappy down for good? Hopkins couldn't win a Decision with his crooked ref and home judges. Even with his bad acting, and dirty fighting.

    If he was in Wales he would of been rightfully DQ'ed for fouling.

    Hopkins QUIT mentally plain and simple.

    It was just HOT AIR, all his talk about going to Wales.
    He wanted no part of Calzaghe again.

    I don't believe this for a second, Hopkins would have fought Joe again in a heartbeat... You think he was afraid of Joe which explains why he beat up Pavlik in his next fight... makes perfect sense.:patsch

    Completely overrated. Did nothing effective in the Hopkins fight and was gifted a decision. never beat ONE elite fighter in their prime EVER. that is irrefutable. Having a gift decision over a 43 year old as your best win is hardly the quality of a great fighter.

    He Knows deep in his heart he never can beat Calzaghe.
