He should come out of retirement and fight Hopkins who is now 49 years old. What a great rematch. :deal

Happy bday joe, I can't lie while I respect the guy his career is somewhat a farce but I don't blame him he did what he could with his situation so more power to him....I'm far from fan but since I respect the sport I respect him.

Really? How so? Are you basing this statement off his win vs Bhop. You don't feel Hopkins has done more in his career which is still going? Kinda closed minded dont ya think?

Hopkins middleweight reign was horrible. He fought straight bums and WW. Calzaghe SMW was better.

Hopkins CHEATS ALL THE TIME, with headbutts, elbows and wrestling.
    Calzaghe is a CLEAN FIGHTER.

Plus 6 losses on Hopkins record..How many losses does Joe have?

    NONE!!! 46-0 DEAL WITH IT:happy

calzaghe had more hand speed than RJJ, this was evident when they finally fought. Roy never fought a guy his size or bigger that also had god gifted hand speed and he was totally lost, getting clowned.

And don't even give me the "past his prime ****" he's like 2 years older than calzaghe and naturally a bigger man, calzaghe was just a SMW blown up. Calzaghe also fought that fight with a partially broken hand from training camp.

Calzaghe truly was a great and I am a Yank. It's very difficult to beat Hopkins and he just went into an extra gear. Lacy was exposed and ruined by him. He defeated a prime Kessler and schooled a worn out Jones but schooled him bad. Jones was never outboxed like that his chin usually gave out but joe's speed and angles clearly confused him.

Joe himself recently admitted that Roy was past his prime when they fought...

And Roy was faster than Joe, this is pretty much fact for anyone with eyes and a brain.

Joe is being humble. Plus, wasn't Roy juiced to his eyeballs? That tends to make you fast.

    Clean fighter Calzaghe.
