Holyfield did beat Oquendo and was robbed against Valuev for the WBa title 4 years after his fight with Toney.
Slightly random favourite fight was his knockout of Tim Littles back in his supermiddleweight days. He was cut badly over the eye in the previous round with the fight looking likely to be stopped. Toney came out in the next round and knocked him out. He was one of two or three best in the world at that point.
My favorite fighter. I've written 3 articles on him with more to come as always. The Battle of Bettondorf: Nunn vs Toney- https://imgur.com/gallery/ccwN4 Pugilistic Poetry: Barkley vs Toney- https://imgur.com/gallery/dFdsN Breaking down James Toney ( I need to rewrite this one)- https://imgur.com/gallery/7cIcO
look forward to reading them. James was one hell of a fighter. Its a shame he fought for so long though
