    Always liked George. Considering the punishment he took he was always a pretty glib guy. Pretty good fight announcer too back in the day. Lots of tragedy in his life but he soldiers on. Happy BDay and good luck to you George:ARMS1:

    I didn't realise I shared my birthday with George. What a great guy to say I was born on the same date as. I've a few years to go though before the big 80 lol. Happy birthday George

    What a legend! Between his GOAT chin and the personal tragedies that he's overcome, it doesn't get any tougher than Chuvalo. Happy birthday!!!

    Late to the party, however here's hoping Mr Chuvalo had a great 80th birthday.

    Now here was a candidate for brain damage from taking lot of heavy punches, but he looks mighty fit physically and mentally.

    Thank you for the memories of your ring battles, and hoping to continue to hear you are fighting fit.

    Now there is a older person who you still would not be wise to mess with.
