Philadelphia legend who deserved the win against Chavez in their first fight. Very skilled fighter dominated chavez for 9 rounds then his corner cost him the fight with ten seconds left. Richard Steele should have given him the benefit of the doubt to last the rest of the fight
Happy bday to him. He was robbed of his career victory by Steele's incompetence. So sad to see him in his current state. He is a guy who fought on way after he should have reitired.
He was great. One of the best of my youth. He might be one of the most underappreciated guys in boxing. After all, he won a gold medal and a lot of big fights.
I blame Lou Duva for distracting him when he was being asked questions by Steele. I really think that he was distracted and looking at Duva when Steele asked him if he was okay. I also blame Duva and Taylor's team for cashing out on him against Norris. In case you didn't know, I'm not the biggest fan of Lou.
