Happy (late) Birthday, Rocky Marciano

I just learned that he died in Iowa in that plane crash, just as Buddy Holly did. We are the Bermuda Triangle of the Midwest.

 

Happy Birthday, Rock. You were a punching machine!

 

He would be 102 years old today. Prime age for a Jake Paul opponent.

 

Wonder how far the 2 crash sites are from each other. Planes just seem to go down there.

 

Seems Clear Lake, where Buddy Holly died, is two hours north of Newton, where Marciano was killed. Clear Lake is near the Minnesota border.

 

2 hours apart, maybe that is the real no fly zone.
