Jumped on the hype train after the Brook fight, admittedly a bit salty that he beat my favourite boxer, but I’ve always known he was an exciting fighter and when he was so willing to come to Sheffield and fight Brook I was very impressed But he wins the title and calls out absolutely everyone.. not ducking any big fights and genuinely seems like he wants to get all the belts and test himself By no means am I saying this guy is absolutely unbeatable and the best boxer ever, but he’s an exciting fighter who’s calling out the rest of the division and getting no response. It’s a nice change to fighters winning a title and keeping it hostage No fake drama, no overly confident nonsense, calls everyone out, provides exciting boxing. I can’t ask for much more
I got aboard his hype train when I saw him fight at the olympics and thought he'd make a much better pro. I was right. Which is nice. It takes a little bit of the red off my ledger when it comes to predicting which amatuers moving over will have success.
Garcia/Porter/Thurman all seem to enjoy making noise against each other at welterweight, but all 3 falls easily to Spence. While Thurman holds his belt hostage Spence can make a statement by stopping Porter and Garcia back to back. Getting rather annoying seeing those 3 hijack each other's post fights as if no one else matters in the division.
