Ariza has reported along with Roach that Pacquiao did NOT DO ANY S&C for this fight. in other words Pacquiao did NOT train to win he took Marquez lightly which is odd because Marquez gave him 36 rounds of hell prior to.

Pacquaio looked good in this fight. Honestly, it was the best I've seen of him in a long time. He's a natural puncher. Weighlifting slows him down and is detrimental to his speed.

While Marquez was juicing, Pacquaio did abandon his initial gameplan of using speed, head movement, and counterpunching and went in for the kill.

It cost him.

Marquez is a great puncher, steriods don't make you a great puncher, but it's just that he maintained his handspeed and conditioning, as well as his ability to take punches, and hired a trainer known for steriods that makes one suspicious.

 

Was visibly slower. Got knocked down in round 5, wasn't down in fight 3.


So basically all you have is that his S&C coach has a regrettable PAST.
