Retiring when the welterweight division was really hot is why Floyd is undefeated.

Yeah just imagine if he was around in 1999 or 2000 when there was Trinidad, Vargas, Quartey, Mosley, Wright, and Forrest. His zero would be gone had he fought some of those guys.

Im sure Mayweather trains really hard but who else in the history of boxing has ever had to talk this much about how hard he trains ? Who cares ? Just go into the fight and show it. Mosley never gasses, trains in High Altitude and has a tremendous body as well he doesnt need to say in every interview how hard he trains like he has to prove something to someone.

DLH to I mean he really won that 07 fight on DLH gassing. Mayweather didnt really land all that many clean punches in that fight. Give him the 2000 DLH who was lighter on the feet, more active, faster etc I dont believe he wins. I think Mayweather would struggle greatly to all the listed fighters.

I respect Floyd's ability, but he needs to stop acting like a little kid and being so damn ignorant, dude is 33 for ****sake.

Floyd's workrate may win the fight for him if Shane respects his punch cause if not, those "swinging", "looping" punches that y'all perfectionists like to criticize will hurt him and slow him down.

Floyddoesn't draw ****-his opponents do.Gatti-Floyd-Gatti brought the pay-per-view numbers not Floyd.

De La Hoya-Mayweather-Same thing-De La Hoya has a ton more fans then Mayweather.

Floyd couldn't sell out his hometown if the tickets were free.

Mayweather is fantastic athlete. You hope neither of these guys overtrain coming in. I just want a good competitive close fight. Boxing needs an event that actually matches the hype. Hopefully this can be it.
