Yep. We get all sorts of bull**** threads get sent over from the general boxing forum. If it has MMA in the title it's gonna be moved.

MMA does the same, difference is MMA fans are just so gullible that they believe they are competitive.

This is a bit academic really considering its a boxing forum no? And if i HAD to choose it would be boxing. Boxing is the greatest sport in the ****ing world!!! ( still love me some MMA though and i do consider myself a hardcore fan)

Where's the option for both. I like technical boxing fight as much as I like a technical MMA fight that ends up on the ground.

I'm a fan of fighting and I can appreciate technical fights or brawls.

I don't confuse slow boring fights for the sweet science.

I'll second that. This is where UFC is excellent, and it's definitely a contributing factor in their success.
The attitude in boxing seems to be that they don't want to give the fans too much on one card. We're supposed to be happy with the just main event.

The UFC dont have much choice. They are the PROMOTION of course. Where as all boxers are individual entities who work with a promoter(s). Its actually better this way economically for the fighters. The UFC's model just lines there pockets at the fighters expense. And i havent seen a stacked UFC card in a while.
