Nice vids, the best thing about them is that they are completely objective and give a good fair assessment of both fighters without prejudgment and biased. Smell the sarcasm Serge? Lol Both have concussive power only Wlad delivers with more consistent technique. What people tend to not appreciate or understand is with technique you begin to nullify or offset a fighters ability or inability to generate power through natural physiology. I tend to believe a good portion of Wilders power comes from the velocity of deliver while ,of course, Wlad has greater control and muscle mass. One is blunt force while the other is more shocking based on greater amounts of fast twitch muscle fiber.
Klitschko had single shot power in both hands. Wilder is all right hand and who of real note has he ko'd with it? A shot to bits Stiverne? Ortiz took loads of his shots.
It depends on the type of punch. Wilder's straight right hand and uppercut might have more concussive force but Wlad's left hook is far more powerful. Wilder's has a quick, snappy jab but there isn't much on it. Wlad's jab was a battering ram.
Vlad at his prime had huge power in his right hand, and left hand, his right hand was shorter, did not come from left field. All Wilder has is a wildly thrown right hand, but Vlad's has more power, he left hook had more power than Widler's right, which is all he has and it's just too telegraphed!
Wlad hit harder in my opinion. First off he's 20-25lbs heavier and his power is far more proven that Wilder's. Wlad is a one punch KO artists like Wilder, but the difference is Wlad can do it with either hand, left hook or straight right, Wlad can knock you out cold. Wilder only has the right hand, yes it's a great right hand but it's really his only weapon. Wilder has to massively load up on it too, unlike Wlad, he throws in a far more refined manner and can still knock you the phuck out. Even if you disagree, Wlad is the far more effective puncher. Wilder may have massive power but as an overall puncher he's lacking, which is why Joshua stopped Gavern and Molina quicker, why Povetkin stopped Duhaupas quicker, why Stiverne stopped Arreola quicker and why Kownacki stopped Szpilka quicker. Some times it's not how hard you hit that matters, it's how effective you are in applying that power and in this regard Wilder is very average.
Wilder is a hard puncher but I think Klitschkos power teamed with his accuracy is alot more devastating.
