Now i'm not German or Russian but I had Roman winning 8-4. The man was landing 8 punches to two. Sebastin did come on strong late but i though Roman got 6 of the first eight rounds. They only show replays of sebastin's jabs. the crowd cheers for everytime he throws like he just landed a haymaker. It is pretty disgusting to see. very bias. When they are writing out the scorecard. One of the German dudes starts punching in the judges area, i guess is bc they had it a draw and they weren't having it.atsch
Kamarzin unfortunate to me was not throwing power punches. But the other guy is not a true champion either and deserves to lose.
Im not so sure.... look at haye - valuev. I am trying to think of a shocking recent decision there and I really can not. can anyone point me any out?
[yt]2X9xe1nZNYU[/yt] Q : How was your training for this fight ? Roman : I am more prepaired for this fight than I was for my previous one . My opponent is a workhorse but nothing really special about him , I have to come out and win the fight . Q : Do you think you have to win by KO in Germany ? Roman : Well , you know . They wont give us the victory any other way . Q : You could be the first russian to be a world champion in 2 different weightclasses in professional boxing . Is this an extra motivation for you ? Roman : Yes , I am trying to reach this . Big motivation for me . Q : You've already fought twice in Germany , whats your opinion about Germany ? Roman : I want to say once again , nobody believes in winning in Germany , when you go to Germany you go to there to lose . I came here to win , I was here twice and won European Championships against 2 strong opponents .
You can win in the Germany, of course you can, but what happened at the weekend is a disgrace. K clearly won the fight. No doubt whatsoever. I'm German and I'm tired of the "You can't win in Germany" discussions, but this time it is okay to bash the judges and the promoters. It was a shame for the sports.
No. The scores of the American judges were bull****, also I can see arguments for either one. Depends really what you like. Karmazin´s pacing and workrate or Sylvester´s defence, harder and more accurate shots. The Canadian one had it about right, a draw was the fairest decision to both fighters. There should be a rematch and an investigation of the scoring and the brawl though. btw. use the search function, there is a thread on this already. btw. what´s with Haye over Valuev? Or Gulyakevich over Tajbert? I thought better of you. :-(
But still, on the same event, there was a Cendrowski/Troelenberg fight. Cendrowski is polish average boxer and Troelenberg is a German prospect... Polish won on points.
