Well I guess it is understandable, you think that way. Germany somewhat earned that reputation. And even german boxing fans don´t understand some decisions.
On the other hand I sometimes get the impression, the whole scoring philosophy is different. Could it be that in Germany the scoring emphasizes more on effective punching compared to the US, where you also win rounds by being active?
Don´t get me wrong you win rounds by landing clean punches and by being more active on both continents. Just in comparison the emphasis is more on clean punches landed and less being active in Germany.

But in reality, the promoters in the US or the Uk aren´t that much better.
It all stinks and we need a neutral worldwide organisation.

Btw: Word Cup 2010, go Germany !!!!

You mean US and Canada, right?

Or did the two judges that didn't score for Karmazin suddenly become 'German' when their transatlantic flights landed?

Bodhi, did you hear what Doering had to say?

    http://www.mdr.de/boxen-im-ersten/7390494.html , towards the end.

So for starters, of course there are even rounds under IBF rules, I've never heard anything else. Additionally, if there would have been an even round it couldn't have been 114-113 and gotten 114-114. Perhaps 115-114 was what he meant? But how would he explain the two 118-111 scores without even rounds? (apparently the 117-111 got changed to 118-111 after the announcement)

Really, it's pretty darn unprofessional and I'm pretty disappointed. I always held SES in higher regard.

you could be right, i have nothing against Germany itself and i can see why i can come across as if im hating, but quite a few people refer back to ottke and i cant help but think thats why Germany has the reputation it does. True and probably not fair that one fighter has tarnished a nations reputation:good

If he hadnt of acted like such an idiot he might have won, British boxing does have its own problems at the moment with decisions mind you:good

Yes, I did. 10-10 rounds are possible according to IBF, not 9-9 rounds. I guess that´s what he is talking about.
