I like him too he's a great character and very likeable. I suspect he'll never take his career seriously and will never dedicate himself to training the way he should if he wants to achieve anything in the sport. And if he ever does knuckle down and do so he'll probably be brain damaged by the time the penny drops from the amount of cumulative punishment he's absorbed during sparring and in fights. I really hope I'm wrong but I'm not overly optimistic.
It's a shame really. Few heavyweights are blessed with his durability and although he doesn't have much else, he could certainly achieve more than he is doing.
He could definitely achieve more in the sport if he dedicates himself. And I say that as someone who doesn't have a high opinion of his ability. I think he could be a whole lot better if he really dedicated himself to the sport though.
Yeah he admittedly isn't very talented, and my opinion on his ability is pretty much the same as yours. But surely he could get himself into better shape, his stamina and his non-existent defence resulted in him losing last time round. He could do something about that surely.
I've seen explanations on why Wlad is the hardest hitter. Anyone who voted for other people (e.g. Joshua) care to explain their opinion?
Lose 20lbs, hook up with a good trainer, eat right, live right and dedicate himself and train like a maniac. Not saying he'll go onto achieve greatness or even reach contender level but making those kind of sacrifices can totally transform a lot of fighters.
Probably, but with a few caveats: - it's hard to judge punching power precisely, as timing and speed play a part as well; - Wilder's big right hand is as powerful as anyone else's, but we don't see that much power in any other punch. Should that take him above Ortiz, or even Joshua? - I would like to see more of Joshua, especially against someone with an iron chin, to judge his power more precisely. IMHO he could be challenging Wlad for #1 but I need to see more.
Yeah I know what you mean. However I think that if Anthony did have more one punch power than Wlad, then he would have shown it already. But yeah I agree with what you're saying.
Nice! Yeah Fury is no joke and a top notch talent whether certain idiots on here want to admit to it or not.
Klitschko still hits the hardest, by quite a margin It took several of Joshua shots drop Wlad, but Wlad dropped Joshua with one hard shot Down he went.... Wlad followed by Joshua with possibly Ortiz also on par with Joshua
