Coming into the thread I was surprised that Wilder didnt get more of the votes since... if he has one strength you would have to say its been his power. But agree with the majority on here it hard to gauge his power with the level he has been at. Personally I think his one punch power is real, but think its also to do with the wild nature of his punch guys arent expecting it. But you have to go with Wlad based on his track record or Haye (old haye anyway) Joshua is clearly heavy handed but most of his opponents have commented that its the speed and accuracy when throwing combinations that gets them.
Where is this devastating one punch KO power? AJ is obviously a huge man and he hits very hard, but he's mostly overwhelming his opponents with speed, timing and combinations. Now granted they're quick and heavy combinations but I don't think the power he generates with single shots is big enough to say he's the hardest puncher in the division. He still hits hard with single shots but he's not a one shot KO type of guy. This content is protected
Depends if he likes you or not, lol, he was always cool with me but I seen Parker stop other sparring partners. Parker is pretty respectful though, if you're respectful with him he's the same back, if you try to turn it up, he turns it up even higher.
I'm surprised how close this poll has been getting recently tbh. I would like so see more guys who voted for Joshua to explain their opinion.
I think the most guys confused hardest puncher with best or most dangerous puncher therefore many have voted for Anthony Joshua.
He's a very effective puncher and he obviously hits very hard, but he's not a devastating one punch KO hitter IMO.
He is an accurate puncher, hits very hard and has the killer instinct to finish opponents, which is why he has that knockout rate. Not only this, but the majority of his knockouts are simply TKO wins. To me this suggests that he isn't a one punch knockout guy but still a very hard puncher, like you said.
Yeah there is a difference. Joshua is probably the most effective puncher in the heavyweight division right now. His accuracy, timing, variety of shot and combinations make him very formidable. But he doesn't spark guys out cold with single shots. He hits you cleanly and hurts or drops you then it's the follow up shots that finish you off.
Sounds good mate. He always comes across well in interviews so it's good to hear he's a cool guy. How do you rate his boxing ability?
